This is a free guide on the LEED AP Homes exam. Below we will cover the needed material that spans the exam as well as the current version and format. We recommend to set aside a few weeks to study for the Homes exam and if you have not already passed the LEED Green associate exam you can take the combined exam or you must first pass the LEED Green Associate exam.
Guide to the LEED AP Homes Exam
The LEED Professional Homes exam is scored between a 125 and 200 scale system. Similar to the other LEED AP exams, Your answer to each question may or may not count in your end score based upon statistics being gathered by the USGBC. Some of the questions that may not count are questions being tested as well as future test material.
Current AP Homes Exam Version is V4
The exam contains 100 questions including the 15 pretest questions.
You may encounter a particularly hard question during your exam. Remember that your exam time limit is long and you can always skip and return to a question. Make sure to review all of your answers. You may find during the course of your exam you may remember the question that you forgot or missed. Make sure to do a review before submitting your test to be graded. Unless stated by the GBCI or USGBC you will receive your score at the end of the exam.
